Flooding Closure

LIGO Livingston has decided to CANCEL its monthly Science Saturday in August due to the historic flooding in the region.  While the LIGO facility is in good shape, cancelling will allow the staff to concentrate on the larger local cleanup efforts.

More information on Science Saturdays:  LIGO Livingston has been opening its doors to the surrounding community once a month on Saturday of the month from 1 PM - 5 PM, for tours, activities and time in the exhibit hall.  This is the first time LIGO has cancelled a Science Saturday since starting the program in 2009.  We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause people.
