Swing into Science Saturday, July 16th

On July 16th LIGO's Science Education Center in Livingston, LA, will be hosting tours, and swinging into science as part of it's monthly Science Saturday. Experiment with pendulums, make an item swing without touching and more as you learn about items that swing. LIGO's mirrors are pendulums, free to swing when a gravitational wave moves them.
We will be open from 1 PM - 5 PM
LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public, but we request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
