Visitors explore the tornado exhibit
Science Saturday @LIGO Livingston, July 21st
News Release • July 19, 2018
On Saturday, July 21st, at LIGO Science Education Center in Livingston, LA, we want you to get some science R & R as you explore Reflection & Refraction in our lobby! Lobby activities are all about Reflection and Refraction. Use reflection to combine your face with a friend's face, use reflection and refraction to make a penny disappear and much more! Come on by and investigate the new set of exhibits that arrived in June, and tour the world's first successful gravitational wave detector.
Tours are conducted every 20-30 minutes from 1 PM - 4 PM. LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public - you can drop in any time from 1-5 PM. We request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
